Endowments
A school endowment is a dedicated fund established to provide long-term financial sustainability for a school. For Catholic education, these endowments are vital as they help sustain the mission of providing faith-based education and nurturing the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of students.
Managed by the Foundation of the Diocese of Charlotte, endowments are permanent, with the principal kept intact in perpetuity and invested to create a growing source of income. The endowment grows through additional gifts, income and capital appreciation.
St. Patrick Catholic School Endowment Fund
The St. Patrick Catholic School Endowment Fund provides for the general needs of our school and provides long-term support for our mission.

An endowment is a permanent fund in which the principal remains untouched. This principal includes the initial contribution used to establish the endowment as well as any additional gifts received over time. Only the investment earnings generated by the endowment can be utilized.

The fund aims to ensure our tradition of excellence and sustainability of St. Patrick Catholic School for years to come. Having a strong endowment is vital to support our mission and help manage rising costs for families seeking an exceptional Catholic education grounded in faith.

This financial initiative is supported by the 1930 Fund, with 7% of yearly contributions to the 1930 Fund being allocated to the St. Patrick Catholic School Endowment Fund.

Megan Healy Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Megan Healy Scholarship Endowment Fund provides scholarship assistance for students at St. Patrick Catholic School.

Planned Giving
Planned gifts to St. Patrick Catholic School offer a unique opportunity to leave a lasting legacy, ensuring the continued strength and sustainability of Catholic education for future generations. Examples of planned gifts include a bequest in your will, beneficiary designation through your IRA or 401(k), gifts of real estate or other tangible assets, gifts of life insurance, charitable remainder trust or charitable gift annuity. Our dedicated team is here to guide you in establishing, designating and managing planned gifts and endowments that align with your vision.
To make a donation to the endowment, please mail a check payable to the "Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte" with St. Patrick Catholic School Endowment #351 in the memo line.
